About

Russell Green Osborne is an environmental technician and technology generalist based in northeastern British Columbia. His work spans environmental data management, Python-based automation, GIS, and agricultural technology.

Russell's career has meandered through research, consulting, fabrication, and field work — unified by a drive to understand how systems work and a preference for open-source, low-cost solutions. He currently works at Conuma Resources managing environmental databases and building reporting pipelines.

This blog is his idea engine — a place to develop thoughts on automation, sustainable agriculture, the fediverse, home lab projects, and the intersection of technology and community resilience.
